Maybe the folks who left the sofa out are moving, needed to make room for the delivery of a new sofa, or needed help moving the sofa and the helpers' availability didn't correspond with the night before trash day. Making this complaint could result in a fine for the resident, presumably your neighbor. If you want to make sure the sofa disappears, call DGS and let them know there will be a sofa at that address on trash day, per DGS policy for the disposal of large items.
What if we saved this platform for reporting actual problems, like potholes or broken street signs, instead of publicly shaming our neighbors?
