City trucks must of traveled down Kyle today (Fri) Could they not possibly already picked it up? Still there as of 5pm Fri.

Generally we work with the property owner to get the couch removed. Our regular Solid Waste Services trucks do not pick up anything this big. We do offer a free bulky load pickup if the property owner does not wish to remove the couch on their own, but this is a different crew and a different truck and is pre-scheduled.

Unfortunately, this is one of those deals where there are no houses on that side of the street and someone just dumped it there. Unless I did not see it still there on the way home, it appears to been picked up. Recommend CLOSE issue.

I will have our inspector keep an eye out if anything else turns up on this property.
