m a should stick to issues you know something about and keep your nose out of the rest. The mayor did not visit. We communicated via email. I met the Code Officer at City Hall where she informed me that the DPW was coming out that afternoon. If you are insinuating that I am a danger to elected and appointed City Officials, come pay me a visit.

Hey you two, let's not fight, we are all neighbors living in the same City. We don't need to get mad at one another for each other's opinions, as we are all entitled to them. We all may not agree with each other's opinions, but that's the beauty of the First Amendment. Be happy we live in Clawson, MI and not Aleppo, Iraq, Afghanastan - were issues are more bigger then cutting down a dead tree and how the City handles it! We are lucky. BE NICE TO ONE ANOTHER!

m a.....again get your facts straight. The front end loader was sent to S Batchewana to pick up and carry away two large chunks of the tree that the DPW left on the ground. If they happened to drive by/stop at the Claw. Shopping Center dump they were probably observing for the first time what I pointed out weeks ago. As clearly pointed out by Clawson Officials, the responsibility for removing the debris and tree trimming lies with the Clawson Shopping Center owners.

How can one even know anymore what "m a" is saying; every comment seems to be categorized "content blocked by rejections".

I don't care what m a has to say. The issue is resolved by the DPW. Let it be.

Yes, a lot of dead horses being beat to death on certain issues. I'm glad whoever runs this website is finally blocking/monitoring repetitive comments, rambling, and opening congruent issues to keep the argument going.

I meant - noticing congruent issues being opened by the same person (M A), to keep the argument going.

Just a serious and heartfelt question in that regard from someone who uses seeclickfix very regularly: Until such time as an issue has been reported as having been definitively fixed and/or resolved by the town/city authorities themselves, how is it considered even remotely possible that the unilateral independently-rendered opinion of any one user can be counted on to be a sufficient guarantee that it delivers the final certainty of the officially verified decision imperative for the closure of an issue?

If a user is qualified to point out an issue, start a fixit order, what makes that same person unqualified to close it? Must we submit to a parade down our street of all fixit users so that they may judge whether in their opinion it can be closed or not? And in what manner does this being open affect anyone but the 3 homes that face the area (who are all satisfied with the work). The DPW did their job, cleaned up, and have not returned. The only remaining issue is for the City to collect $$$ from the condo association for the work that the DPW was forced to do because the condo association did not. That puts the closing issue in the hands of the tax assessor or the City Attorney, if you will But what if one condo owner refuses to pay the added tax surcharge? Then a lien will be placed on the property and this could stay open until the cows come home.
