The addition of curb and gutter and sidewalks would make this location much more pedestrian friendly.

CAT buses typically stop in the right hand lanes of all rights-of-way, and while bus turnouts can resolve some bus-car conflicts, installation of turnout lanes are limited due to the right-of-way needed for the construction. FYI...The City is in the initial stages of a project to design improvements to this section of Capital to address pedestrian accessibility, especially for transit. This project is currently funded for design only through grant funds, but we are hopeful to secure funding for construction in the near future.

Is it possible to look into moving the stop 50 feet earlier to the dedicated right turn lane between Bojangles and the Mitsubishi dealership? Then the turn lane could be used as a turnout for the buses.
